Created on a whim, a few of my favorite items in my new etsy shop are my hand painted "Alice in Wonderland" pocket mirrors. Currently I have 4 designs...Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts Rabbit (shown above) and the Rabbit with the Pocket Watch.The original 42 illustrations, done by Sir John Tenniel for the Lewis Carol classic book Alice in Wonderland, have become public domain. In other words, the copyright has expired. For my mirrors I laser print the illustrations onto ivory paper and then hand watercolor the images. It's proved to be delightfully fun painting these beautiful, classic illustrations!
